Bailey Olympus 534 (2010): £10,000

The Bailey Olympus 534 is fantastic four berth caravan manufactured by Bailey in 2010. There are plenty of notable benefits of this caravan, from the large lounge area at the front to the fixed double bed at the rear. Here are all the benefits of the Olympus 534:
I’ll explain these pros in a bit more detail below. This is one of my favourite 4 berth caravans available for £10,000. Here’s why:
- Alu-Tech construction: The Alu-Tech construction of this caravan is a big advantage. The aluminium framework interlocks to clamp the body panels together. Basically, Bailey caravans using the Alu-Tech construction are more robust and designed with facing all weather conditions in mind. Brand new, this caravan came with a 10-year water ingress warranty, so Bailey’s confidence in the construction type is evident.
- Sizeable lounge area: The lounge area in the Olympus 534 is sizeable, comfortably seating at least 4 if not more. This is actually a relatively small caravan in terms of width and length, but the 534 doesn’t feel small thanks to the large, comfortable lounge.
- Well-equipped kitchen: The kitchen in the Olympus 534 is well-equipped, with plenty of worktop space, microwave, oven, grill, multi-fuel hobs, and fridge. For a 4 berth, cost-effective tourer, the kitchen is surprisingly well-equipped. There’s also sufficient storage, with an overhead locker and a large cupboard.
- Capacious rear washroom: The Olympus 534 has a capacious rear washroom; a rarity in a caravan of this size. The shower is large and there is storage in the form of cupboards. All in all, this washroom is excellent considering the size of the caravan.
As I said, you can often find the Bailey Olympus 534 for around £10,000. For £10,000, you’ll be getting an impressive caravan with plenty of space and a good spec.
Bailey Pegasus 534 (2011): £9,999

The Bailey Pegasus 534 (2011) is a stylish 4 berth caravan with countless pros that makes it one of the best options for people looking to purchase a caravan priced £10,000 or under. I found this caravan available for just under 10k at £9,999, and the benefits here more than justify the price tag.
Here are the pros of this brilliant tourer explained in more detail.
- Large lounge: The large lounge at the front of the caravan is a big benefit. For a 4 berth caravan, the front lounge is remarkably sizeable, particularly if you don’t have the optional center chest. There’s more than enough room in this caravan for 4 people to sit comfortably. In fact, there’s enough room for at least 6 to sit in relative comfort as far as I’m concerned.
- Good, well-equipped kitchen: The Pegasus 534’s kitchen isn’t one of the best you’ll find in a caravan by any means. However, it’s a really good kitchen for a caravan of this size and price tag. The kitchen contains all the usual essentials, such as an oven, dual-fuel hobs, and a microwave. But it also has a decent amount of workspace. I think most people will be happy with the size of this kitchen.
- Sizeable rear washroom: In smaller, entry-level caravans, cost-saving measures are typically most noticeable in the washroom. However, the washroom is actually one of the notable benefits of this caravan. The washroom is capacious, with a good-sized shower cubicle and plenty of cupboard space.
- Fixed double: I love a caravan with a fixed double and I know that a lot of people agree me. Having a fixed double just makes life so much easier; it really is as simple as that. Consider the fact that you can lift the lid of the bed in the Pegasus 534, revealing a significant storage area for larger belongings. This is also a big advantage, because smaller caravans often suffer a storage issue.
You will usually find the Bailey Pegasus 534 available for just under £10,000. For that price tag, you really can’t go wrong.
Coachman VIP 535 (2008): £9,500

The Coachman VIP 535 (2008) genuinely feels like a caravan fit for a Very Important Person! Despite the age of this caravan, it’s still an excellent option if you are looking to purchase a caravan for £10,000 or less.
Here are the main pros and cons of the Coachman VIP 535.
Let’s have a closer look at the pros.
- Comfortable, spacious lounge: Out of all the caravans that I have recommended on this list, the lounge of the Coachman VIP 535 (2008) has got to be the best. The furnishings in this caravan are nice on the eye and exceptionally comfy, which is exactly what you want in your tourer. Furthermore, there is more than enough seating for the 4 people this caravan is designed for to sit in comfort.
- Well-equipped kitchen: The Coachman VIP 535 (2008) features a fantastic kitchen, especially for a cost-effective 4 berth caravan. The kitchen features all that you would expect, from an oven and microwave to a dual-fuel hob. One of the most impressive things with this caravan is the amount of worktop space that you have because you wouldn’t normally find such a large worktop in a caravan of this size.
- Fixed double bed: As I said, I believe that a fixed double bed is an excellent feature in any caravan. It saves all the trouble at bedtime trying to make up the bed! Instead, you can just get straight into bed rather than messing around. It also gives you extra space to relax throughout the day if you don’t want to use the lounge area. It’s great to have really!
- Sizeable end washroom: As well as all the other pros of this caravan, it also has a sizeable end washroom. A 4 berth caravan usually has cutbacks when it comes to the washroom because other areas of the tourer take priority. However, the Coachman VIP 535 features a great end washroom that is pretty sizeable.
This is definitely one of the best 4 berth caravans available for under £10,000. Coachman are known for creating excellent caravans, so it’s no wonder that this is a high-spec caravan despite its age. It still feels premium despite the fact that it is a caravan manufactured in 2008.
