Safety when traveling. You need to know the height and width of your RV so you can avoid bridges and tunnels that are too low or too narrow for your motorhome.
Storage. Where are you going to store your RV when it’s not in use? If you’re storing your motorhome in a storage facility, you’ll need to tell the owner the dimensions of your RV. If you’re planning to store your RV at home, you need to make sure you have enough room.
Park restrictions. Many RV parks in the United States have length and width restrictions. Therefore you need to make sure you know your RV’s dimensions before booking any trips.
