Lunar Motorhome Dimensions (Updated for 2021)

The dimensions of a motorhome are usually one of the first things to look at when considering which motorhome to buy. Knowing these dimensions mean you can easily consider the restrictions when it comes to the length, height and weight of your motorhome. Another reason why it is important to know the dimensions is because so many sites within the UK and Europe ask for the dimensions of your vehicle when booking.

Below, I have included three pieces of important information: overall length, overall body weight, and overall height.

Select your Lunar motorhome model from the list below to be taken to the relevant dimensions:

Lunar Landstar Dimensions (Updated for 2021)

The Lunar Landstar is designed to be excellent in both style and performance. It features Lunar’s innovative engineering, striking design and some impressive features. This is the perfect motorhome if you want to make your next outdoor trip feel luxurious while also being practical. Lunar has been converting a variety of base vehicles into some very well designed motorhomes having built on Fiat, Mercedes, Nissan and Renault. This time, Lunar have introduced their range called Landstar, which is built on Mercedes’ introduction of a new Sprinter panel van.

The Lunar Landstar RLS is quite a large motorhome considering the size of other similar van conversions, measuring over 7m from bumper to bumper. Its layout has also proven to be one of the most popular among motorhome buyers. Let’s take a look at the features of this motorhome in more detail.

One of the best features the Lunar Landstar RLS has to offer is the extensive kitchen. With a very large amount of worktop surface at the forward end and an extension flap at the settee end, it creates even more food preparation space, often making you forget that this is a motorhome and not a regular kitchen in your house. The cooker has a mains hotplate as well as a separate grill and oven. The motorhome includes a high-level microwave as well. The kitchen also has a Dometic 8-Series fridge with a 95-litre capacity. Considering the Lunar Lanstar RLS is a two-berth motorhome, this is a fair fridge size.

For a two-berth vehicle, the lounge is a very large size with a pair of 1.90m long sofas. Having the back doors open during summer is another great feature that will make the lounge feel even more spacious. The nearside settee not only provides additional seating, but the settee base also offers a great deal of storage. The settees are also long enough to act as single beds or you can pull out the nearside seat to create a huge double bed which measures at 1.90m x 1.77m. This model also includes two wardrobes and two tables.

Lunar Cassini Dimensions (Updated for 2021)

  • Overall body weight
  • Overall height

The Lunar Cassini range delivers great style and unbelievable value since it’s built on the Renault Master chassis. This range has been designed to deliver an effortless driving experience, especially on long journeys. It includes a Bluetooth telephone system, an MP3 and USB port, multifunctional steering wheel and daytime running lights. There is also the optional drivers pack which allows you to add air conditioning, a cruise control/speed limiter, Satellite Navigation and a DAB radio.

Lunar Cassini EL

The rear lounge design is designed to comply with Lunar’s very classic look, with plenty of space for a good size bathroom and kitchen towards the front of the motorhome and a comfortable lounge in the rear of the vehicle, which easily turns into a bed. To summarise this model, it is a very simple and classic motorhome at has everything you could need for tow, including easy driving and parking.

The U-shaped lounge has been upholstered in a thick cream coloured fabric, which only adds to the comfortable look and is perfect for accommodating up to seven. The table which space saving foldable legs is stored in the wardrobe and can be easily removed to stand between the sofas to make a cosy dining area. In addition to this, you can easily create a double bed by simply pulling out the frames, sliding the base cushions forwards and dropping backrests in behind. The length of this bed is almost seven feet and the width is just over six feet, making this is a very large bed. You can also remove the backrest cushions to create two singles.

For many motorhome buyers, the kitchen is just as, if not more important than the lounge area. The Lunar Cassini EL offers a lot when it comes to their cooking kit. the kitchen has a three-burner hob, oven/grill and above, a swish stainless-steel microwave. It also has a circular sink which comes with a mixer tap and a washing-up bowl. The kitchen storage is where motorhomes tend to fall short, hover the Cassini EL’s kitchen storage includes an overhead locker, a wide and deep cupboard below the oven, as well as a decent sized drawer and another cupboard mounted below the wardrobe.

For this motorhome model, Lunar has created a well designed integrated alternative instead of adding a separate shower into the washroom. One of the worst feelings when showering in a motorhome has to be the nylon shower curtain that easily gets stuck to bodies while in use. Lunar have included a plastic screen that protects the rest of the bathroom when the water is running, ensuring that the entire room doesn’t get wet. in addition to this, the shower tray is designed to help the water drain away when parked on a surface that isn’t perfectly level with three drains.

Lunar Cassini EB

The interior of the Lunar Cassini EB features a range of stylish soft furnishings in its signature ‘Aldira’ fabric, and modern looking roof lockers in ‘Brushed Oak’. The living area offers a large panoramic sunroof extending from the front of the motorhome, in addition to a Heki roof light. The kitchen comes complete with a 120l Dometic fridge, 3 burner hob, Combi Oven, 20l microwave and a smart stainless steel sink with domestic style tap.

Much like the other models within this range, the Lunar Cassini EB also uses it space in a way that gives the van a much more roomy atmosphere. Since this is one of the longer models of the range, it includes a lounge/ dining are at the front of the motorhome with a fixed table. This is area can very comfortably accommodate two people.

One of the moist loved feature of this model however, is the bathroom. Similar to the Lunar Cassini EL, this model also has a plastic screen that protects the rest of the bathroom when the water is running. But what makes this particular model even better, is the location of the bathroom sink. In the majority of motorhomes, the sing is often fixed into the corner of the shower making is difficult to use if the shower tray is still wet after being used. The larger size of the Lunar Cassini EB model means that the bathroom sink can have its own separate space without having to enter the shower tray to use it.

Lunar Cassini TI

Just slightly over seven and a half metres long, the Lunar Cassini TI has an island bed that is placed within the motorhome in a lengthways position. It has the kitchen and washroom located at either side of the aisle and towards the from of the vehicle there is a classic Euro lounge with swivelling cab seats, a half-dinette that has with two fully belted travel seats and single seat opposite as well.

The kitchen includes a microwave, a good sized sink, an oven/grill, a three-burner hob and sufficient work top surface to offer a comfortable cooking environment. One of the main reasons behind the Lunar Cassini TI’s popularity is because of its layout. The Lunar Cassini TI has a very sleek domestic-style island bed, which sits alone in the rear. It also has a good amount of space around its foot making it spacious and comfortable and not cramped. this model also gains some bonus points for the extra room it offers as the mattress slides back and the head end of the bed folds down allowing you to sit upright against the headboard.

The lounge in the Lunar Cassini TI model is quite generous as it includes a large wall-mounted table with a swing-out extension that allows up to five people to sit and dine in a very spacious and comfortable area.
